Radio, Stereo, and Compact Disc: Description and Operation

The Front Speakers are located in the front doors. The Rear Speakers location depends upon the model. On two-door models, the Rear Speakers are in the rear quarter trim panels. On four-door models the Rear Speakers are mounted in the rear seatback-to-rear window shelf.

The Radio incorporates an electronic memory for preselected station and clock functions. Battery voltage is applied at all times for the Radio clock and memory circuitry through the TAIL Fuse. If this voltage source is interrupted for any reason, the clock and memory functions must be reset. With the Ignition Switch in "ACC" or "ON", Battery voltage is applied through the ACC Fuse to the Radio. When the Radio "ON/VOL" control is turned "ON", voltage is applied through the switch to power all electronic Radio functions. The Radio is permanently grounded at G203.
