Headliner: Service and Repair

Headlining Assembly:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative (-) battery cable.
2. Inside rearview mirror bezel.

Removing Inside Rear View Mirror:

3. Two screws and inside rearview mirror.

Removing Sunshade:

4. Two screws from each sunshade and sunshades from vehicle.
5. One screw from each sunshade inner support and supports from vehicle.

A-Pillar Trim Panel:

^ Gently pry each A-pillar trim panel loose and remove panels from vehicle.

B-Pillar Trim Panel:

^ Gently each B-pillar lower trim panel loose and remove panels from vehicle.

Removing Front Seat Belt Upper Guide Loop Anchor Bolt:

6. One bolt from each front seat belt upper guide loop anchor.

B-Pillar Upper Trim Panel:

^ Gently pry each B-pillar upper trim panel loose and remove panels from vehicle.

C-Pillar Trim Panel:

^ Gently pry each C-pillar trim panel loose and set panels aside.

Assist Grip:

^ Open screw cover on each assist grip, remove two screws from each grip, and remove grips from vehicle if equipped.

7. One screw from each coat hanger, and hangers from vehicle (if equipped ), gently pry dome lamp lens loose and remove.

Removing Dome Lamp:

8. Two screws and dome lamps from vehicle, disconnecting electrical connector.

Power Sunroof Switch Bezel:

9. One screw and gently pry bezel from power sunroof switch if equipped.

Power Sunroof Switch:

10. One screw and power sunroof switch from vehicle, disconnecting electrical connector if equipped.

Removing Headlining Rear Trim:

11. Two screws and headlining rear trim from vehicle.
12. Headlining from vehicle (the headlining is attached to the roof with hook and loop fasteners).

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Headlining to vehicle, secure hook and loop fasteners.
2. Headlining rear trim to vehicle, secure with two screws.
3. Power sunroof switch electrical connector (if equipped).
4. Power sunroof switch (if equipped), secure with one screw.
5. Bezel to power sunroof switch if equipped, secure with one screw.
6. Dome lamp to electrical connector.
7. Dome lamp to vehicle, secure with two screws.
8. Lens to dome lamp.
9. Coat hangers to vehicle, secure with one screw.
10. Assist grips to vehicle if equipped, secure each with two screws, close screw covers.
11. C-pillar trim panels.
12. B-pillar upper trim panels to vehicle.
13. Front seat belt upper anchor to B-pillar, secure each with one bolt.

TIGHTEN
^ Front seat belt upper anchor bolts to 45 Nm (33 lb.ft.).

14. B-pillar lower trim panels to vehicle.
15. A-pillar trim panels to vehicle.
16. Sunshade inner supports to vehicle, secure each with one screw.
17. Sunshades to vehicle, secure each with two screws.
18. Inside rearview mirror to vehicle, secure with two screws.
19. Inside rearview mirror bezel to mirror.
20. Negative (-) battery cable.

TIGHTEN
^ Negative (-) battery cable to negative (-) battery terminal retainer to 15 Nm (11 lb.ft.).
