Instrument Panel Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required

- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014
*Available through the Honda Tool and Equipment Program, 888-424-6857

NOTE:

- Take care not to scratch the dashboard or the related parts.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.

1. Release the tilt/telescopic lever, tilt the steering column all the way down, and pull it all the way out.

2. Disconnect the switch connectors from the instrument panel (A).

1. Remove the fuse lid panel Fuse Lid Panel Removal/Installation.

2. Disconnect the connectors (B, C) at the driver's dashboard lower cover opening.

3. Gently pull out the left side edge of the panel to detach the clips.

4. Disconnect the connectors (D, E) at the gap of the instrument panel and the dashboard.





3. Disconnect the climate control unit connector (A).

1. Gently pull out the right side edge of the panel to detach the clips.

2. Disconnect the connector at the gap of the instrument panel and the dashboard.





4. Gently pull out along the edge of the instrument panel (A) to detach the clips, then remove it.






5. Install the panel in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips into place securely.
- Make sure each connector is plugged in properly.
