Ignition Coil: Testing and Inspection

Ignition Coil Test:

Ignition Coils:

1. Disconnect ignition coil harness connector.
^ Check resistance: Cylinders: 1 and 2
Terminals: 1 and 2 - Approximately 0.7 Ohms
^ Check resistance: Cylinders: 3 through 8
Terminals: 2 and 3 - Approximately 0.7 Ohms
2. If NO GOOD, replace ignition coil.
