Fuel Tank Unit: Service and Repair

- Remove fuel tank from vehicle. Service and Repair
- Slacken fuel tank vapour hose to evaporative loss flange securing clip.
- Disconnect vapour hose from evaporative loss flange.
- Slacken evaporative loss flange blanking cap securing clip and remove the blanking cap.
- Using Service Tool JD-174, release the evaporative loss flange to fuel tank lock ring and remove lock ring (1).
- Displace evaporative loss flange (2) from the fuel tank aperture.
- Disconnect the first in tank fuel pump link harness from the evaporative loss flange.
- Disconnect the evaporative loss flange from the remaining in tank fuel pump link harness and place aside.
- Remove and discard the evaporative loss flange sealing ring (3).

Refit in the reverse order of the removal procedure.
