Vacuum Brake Booster: Service and Repair

Brake Booster

Removal
1 Remove the brake master cylinder.




2 Disconnect the brake booster vacuum electrical connector.




3 Remove the lower trim panel.




4 Remove the retaining nut.




5 Remove the brake booster retaining nuts.




6 Remove the brake booster.

Installation





1
NOTE:
Replace the brake booster/pedal box gasket.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Tighten to 25 Nm.




2 Tighten to 3 Nm.
