Accessory Drive Belt

Removal
1 Remove the cover and disconnect the battery ground cable.

WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.
Raise and support the vehicle.
3 Remove the supercharger belt. For additional information, refer to Supercharger Belt Supercharger Belt




4 Release the accessory drive belt.
- Rotate the accessory drive belt tensioner counter-clockwise, using a 3/8 " drive wrench.




5 Remove the accessory drive belt tensioner.
- Remove the bolt.

Note the fitted position.
Remove the accessory drive belt.

Installation





1 Install the accessory drive belt.
2 Install the accessory drive belt tensioner.
- Clean and inspect the drive pulleys for damage.
- Tighten the tensioner bolt to 40 Nm (30 lb.ft).
3 Install the supercharger belt. For additional information, refer to Supercharger Belt Supercharger Belt
4 Connect the battery ground cable and install the cover.
