DTC P0103
MAFS circuit high input (Driving Cycle A)
Possible causes by suggested order of priority:
- Connectors C1017, C133.
- Circuit integrity C1017/36 (RB) - C133/3 (RB).
- Circuit integrity C1017/16 (UG) - C133/2 (UG).
- Circuit integrity C1029/3 (NO) - C133/1 (NO).
- Sensor supply from C1029/3 (NO).
- Mass air flow sensor.
- ECM.
Connectors C1017, C133.
- Check for connector not correctly latched, backed out pins, damaged pins, corroded pins
Circuit integrity C1017/36 (RB) - C133/3 (RB).
- Check for open circuit, short circuit to ground, supply or other circuit, damaged or unlatched connector, intermediate connectors or headers
Circuit integrity C1017/16 (UG) - C133/2 (UG).
- Check for open circuit, short circuit to ground, supply or other circuit, damaged or unlatched connector, intermediate connectors or headers
Circuit integrity C1029/3 (NO) - C133/1 (NO).
- Check for open circuit, short circuit to ground, supply or other circuit, damaged or unlatched connector, intermediate connectors or headers
Sensor supply from C1029/3 (NO).
- Check voltage 10.0 to 14.0 volts
Mass air flow sensor.
- Air flow meter output voltage on C133/2 (UG) w.r.t C133/3 (RB).
- Ensure ignition is ON (position 2).
- Voltage should increase with engine revs.
PASS VALUES:
With engine not running: less than 0.5 Volts.
With engine at idle: 1.0 to 2.0 Volts.
