Knock background noise low, bank B (Driving Cycle B)

Possible causes by suggested order of priority:
- Connectors C1017, C1022.
- Circuit integrity C1017/11 (O) - C1022/2 (O).
- Circuit integrity C1017/10 (B) - C1022/1 (RB).
- Knock sensor.
- Ignition system.
- ECM.

Connectors C1017, C1022.
- Check for connector not correctly latched, backed out pins, damaged pins, corroded pins

Circuit integrity C1017/11 (O) - C1022/2 (O).
- Check for open circuit, short circuit to ground, supply or other circuit, damaged or unlatched connector, intermediate connectors or headers

Circuit integrity C1017/10 (B) - C1022/1 (RB).
- Check for open circuit, short circuit to ground, supply or other circuit, damaged or unlatched connector, intermediate connectors or headers

Knock sensor.
- Sensor is tightly fitted to the engine block.
- There is nothing rubbing on the sensor (eg hoses).
- The spark plugs are in good condition.

Ignition system.
- Sensor is tightly fitted to the engine block.
- There is nothing rubbing on the sensor (eg hoses).
- The spark plugs are in good condition.

ECM.
- No detail available for this fault
