Vehicle speed signal out of range (Driving Cycle B)

Possible causes by suggested order of priority:
- Connectors C1017, C221.
- Circuit integrity C221/4 (YK) - C1017/27 (YK).
- Instrument Pack.
- Vehicle speed sensor.
- Cruise control ECU (if fitted).
- ECM.

- Check for connector not correctly latched, backed out pins, damaged pins, corroded pins

Circuit integrity C221/4 (YK) - C1017/27 (YK).
- Check for open circuit, short circuit to ground, supply or other circuit, damaged or unlatched connector, intermediate connectors or headers

Instrument Pack.

Vehicle speed sensor.
- When the Rear Right wheel is revolved, you should see six voltage pulses per revolution on the ECM vehicle speed circuit to C1017/27 (YK).
