Rear Spoiler

Removal

CAUTION: Always protect paintwork and glass when removing exterior components.
1 Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Specifications




2 Open the liftgate glass.
- Remove the 2 Torx bolts.
- Close the liftgate glass.




3 Open the liftgate.
- Remove the 3 nuts.
- Close the liftgate.




4 Remove the rear spoiler.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Disconnect the washer jet hose.

NOTE:
Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.
Remove the CHMSL.
- Remove the 4 Torx screws.
6 Remove the 2 clips.




7 Remove the washer jet.
- Release the clip.

Installation
1 Install the high mounted stoplamp.
- Install the Torx screws.
2 Install the washer jet.
3 Install the 2 clips.
4 Install the spoiler.
- Connect and secure the electrical connector.
- Connect the washer jet hose.
- Tighten the nuts to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).
- Tighten the Torx bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb.ft).
5 Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Specifications
