DTC B1183 SHORT IN D SQUIB (2ND STEP) CIRCUIT (TO B+)

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

DTC Detecting Condition:

The D squib (2nd step) circuit consists of the airbag sensor assembly center, the spiral cable sub-assembly and the horn button assembly.

The circuit instructs the SRS to deploy when deployment conditions are met.

DTC B1183/22 is recorded when a short to B+ is detected in the D squib (2nd step) circuit.
