DTC P1631 - Communication Error from HV ECU to Skid Control ECU

DESCRIPTION

The hybrid vehicle control ECU sends signals such as dynamic laser cruise control operation signals, brake operation demand signals and buzzer operation demand signals, etc. to the skid control ECU when the dynamic laser cruise control is in operation. The hybrid vehicle control ECU is the only component that has a function to record and output the DTCs in the dynamic laser cruise control system. Therefore, if the skid control ECU detects a communication error from the hybrid vehicle control ECU, it sends the malfunction signal back to the hybrid vehicle control ECU.






INSPECTION PROCEDURE
HINT: The skid control ECU is considered normal because it determines that signals sent from the hybrid vehicle control ECU are not normal. If a communication error occurs, DTC U0293 will be set.

PROCEDURE

1. REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU
(a) Replace the hybrid vehicle control ECU Removal.
NOTE: When the hybrid vehicle control ECU is replaced with a new one, initialization must be performed Installation.
