DESCRIPTION
HINT: "Body No. 2 ECU" refer to the multiplex network body ECU No. 2 (Body No. 2 ECU).
- This DTC is output when communication stops between the multiplex network body ECU No. 2 (Body No. 2 ECU) and body ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMMUNICATION LINE)




(a) Disconnect the S28 ECU, B5 J/B and D18 master switch connectors.
(b) Check the resistance between the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE)




(a) Check the voltage between the wire harness side connector and body ground.
Standard voltage:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GROUND)




(a) Check the resistance between the wire harness side connector and body ground.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU NO.2
