DESCRIPTION
HINT: This DTC is output when communication stops between the theft deterrent ECU and body ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMMUNICATION LINE)




(a) Disconnect the S28, T5 ECU and B5 J/B connectors.
(b) Check the resistance between wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE)




(a) Check the voltage between the wire harness side connector and body ground.
Standard voltage:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GROUND)




(a) Check the resistance between the wire harness side connector and body ground.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE THEFT DETERRENT ECU
