DTC B2795 - Unmatched Key Code

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when a key with a code that has not been registered in the ECU is inserted into the ignition key cylinder.






INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. RE-REGISTER KEY
(a) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(b) Re-register the key Engine Immobilizer System and insert key into the ignition key cylinder. Check that the engine starts with this key.
OK:
The engine starts.
OK -- END
NG -- REPLACE KEY
