DESCRIPTION

The solenoid goes on when signals are received from the ECU and controls the pressure acting on the wheel cylinders, thus controlling braking force.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTE:
When replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform zero point calibration Calibration.

PROCEDURE

1. RECONFIRM DTC
HINT: These codes are detected when a problem is determined in the master cylinder solenoid.
The solenoid circuit is in the master cylinder solenoid.
Therefore, solenoid circuit inspection and solenoid unit inspection cannot be performed. Be sure to check if any DTC is output before replacing the master cylinder solenoid.
(a) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(b) Drive the vehicle at a speed of approximately 32 km/h (20 mph) or more for 60 seconds or more.
(c) Check if the same DTCs are detected Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
