DTC C1879/79 - Zero Point Calibration of Acceleration Sensor Undone

DESCRIPTION

This DTC does not indicate a malfunction. This DTC is stored when the calibration value of the acceleration sensor zero point cannot be obtained.
HINT: When this DTC is output, obtain the calibration value of the acceleration sensor zero point first.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM ZERO POINT CALIBRATION
(a) Perform the acceleration sensor assembly zero point calibration Programming and Relearning.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
2. RECONFIRM DTC
(a) Check for DTCs Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System.
(b) Is DTC C1779/79 output?
NO -- END
YES -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK ACCELERATION SENSOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the RR console box assembly.
(b) Check that the acceleration sensor assembly is not installed at an angle.
OK:
The acceleration sensor assembly is not installed at an angle.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE ACCELERATION SENSOR ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. INSPECT ACCELERATION SENSOR CIRCUIT
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
5. RECONFIRM DTC
(a) Check for DTCs Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System.
(b) Is DTC C1779/79 output?
NO -- END
YES -- REPLACE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU
