HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM: B1445/45: Passenger Side Cool Air Bypass Damper Control
B1445/45 - Passenger Side Cool Air Bypass Damper Control

DESCRIPTION

The cool air bypass damper servo motor sends pulse signals to inform the air conditioning amplifier assembly of the damper position. The air conditioning amplifier assembly activates the motor (normal or reverse) based on the signals to move the cool air bypass damper to any position. As a result, when the air conditioner is operating, the temperature of the air blowing toward the head area is controlled.

HINT
Confirm that no mechanical problem is present because this trouble code can be stored when either a damper link or damper is mechanically locked.
