DESCRIPTION
This DTC is stored when the combination meter detects a fuel sender gauge malfunction.

PROCEDURE
1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (FUEL SENDER GAUGE)
(a) Operate the Techstream according to the display and select the Data List Scan Tool Testing and Procedures.
Combination Meter
OK:
Fuel amount value displayed on the Techstream is almost the same as needle indication.
NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER - PUMP AND GAUGE AND BODY GROUND)
OK -- REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY Removal
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER - PUMP AND GAUGE AND BODY GROUND)
(a) Disconnect the E77 combination meter assembly connector.
(b) Disconnect the N1 fuel suction with pump and gauge tube assembly connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. INSPECT FUEL SUCTION WITH PUMP AND GAUGE TUBE ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the fuel sender gauge assembly Removal.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPLACE FUEL SUCTION WITH PUMP AND GAUGE TUBE ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. INSPECT FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the fuel sender gauge assembly Removal.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
