DESCRIPTION

The display and navigation module display and television display assembly are connected by the MOST communication line.

When an MOST communication error occurs between the display and navigation module display and television display assembly, these DTCs will be stored.





HINT
For the MOST network, the display and navigation module display is the master unit.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK OPTIONAL COMPONENTS (INCLUDING ASSOCIATED WIRING)

(a) Check for optional components.

(1) Check that optional components (including associated wiring) which generate radio waves are not installed.

HINT
* Electrical noise from radio waves generated by optional components or the wiring for those components may affect MOST communication.
* This DTC may be stored when an MOST communication error occurs due to electrical noise.

2. REMOVE OPTIONAL COMPONENTS (INCLUDING ASSOCIATED WIRING)

(a) Remove optional components (including associated wiring).

NOTICE:
Do not remove optional components or associated wiring without the permission of the customer.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(b) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.

OK:

No DTCs are output.

NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE)

OK -- END

4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE)

(a) Disconnect the L49 television display assembly connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEVISION DISPLAY - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY)

(a) Disconnect the L49 television display assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the F49 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY - DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY)

(a) Disconnect the L49 television display assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the F54 display and navigation module display connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

7. REPLACE TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY

(a) Replace the Television display assembly Removal.

(b) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(c) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.

OK:

No DTCs are output.

NG -- REPLACE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY Removal

OK -- END
