DESCRIPTION

If the steering control ECU detects an internal malfunction, it will turn the master warning light on, store DTC C15B4/71, and stop VGRS operation.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1. CHECK MASTER WARNING LIGHT

(a) Check the conditions under which the master warning light comes on.

2. CLEAR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

3. PERFORM VGRS SYSTEM CALIBRATION

(a) Perform VGRS system calibration Calibration.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

4. CHECK DTC

(a) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
