INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CONFIRM LIGHT POSITION

(a) Check the malfunctioning personal light.

B -- REPLACE MAP LIGHT Removal
A -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAP LIGHT - BATTERY)





(a) Disconnect the R7 light connector.

(b) Measure the voltage to the according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. INSPECT NO. 1 ROOM LIGHT





(a) Remove the No. 1 room light connector Room Light (for Front).

(b) Apply battery voltage to the connector, and check the illumination condition.

OK:









C -- REPLACE NO. 1 ROOM LIGHT

B -- REPLACE NO. 1 ROOM LIGHT
A -- Continue to next step.

4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAP LIGHT - NO. 1 ROOM LIGHT)





(a) Disconnect the R7, R12 and R10 light connectors.

(b) Measure the resistance to the according value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE MAP LIGHT Removal
