Diagnosis System
NETWORKING: CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM: DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM
1. BUS CHECK
(a) Select "CAN Bus Check" from "System Select".
2. CHECK INSTALLED SYSTEMS (ECUS AND SENSORS) THAT USE CAN COMMUNICATION
(a) Systems (ECUs and sensors) that use CAN communication vary depending on the optional settings of the vehicle. Check which systems (ECUs and sensors) are installed on the vehicle.
3. DTC TABLE BY ECU
HINT
* In the CAN communication system, CAN communication system DTC's stored by the ECU can be output by using the Techstream.
* If CAN communication system DTC's are output, the trouble cannot be determined solely from the DTC's. Perform troubleshooting according to "How to Proceed with Troubleshooting".

4. DTC COMBINATION TABLE
HINT
o: Stored.
x: When one side of branch wire is open, storage may occur.
*1: Only stored when communication recovery has occurred. During communication stop, cannot be stored.
*2: Stored when vehicle speed is 15 km/h (9 mph) or more.
*3: This DTC is not stored when only the spd signal is lost. When any of DTC's C2121 to C2125 is stored and the spd signal is lost, this DTC is stored.
*4: Stored when vehicle speed is 30 km/h (18 mph) or more.
*5: The ECM receives diagnosis data from the distance control ECU and stores a DTC.
*6: The seat belt control ECU receives diagnosis data from the distance control ECU and stores a DTC.
*7: Only stored while malfunction continues.
