NOTE: The source of code 41 can be from either the Air Mix Damper Position Sensor circuit or the Air Mid Control Servomotor circuit. It may be necessary to complete both inspection procedures below to find the source of the trouble code.

DTC 41 Air Mix Damper Position Sensor Circuit

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
This sensor detects the position of the air mix damper and sends the appropriate signals to the air conditioning control assembly. The position sensor is built into the air mix control servomotor.

This air mix control servomotor is controlled by the A/C control assembly and moves the air mix damper to the desired position.
