DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART

1. DTC CHECK

B1244:

If a malfunction code is displayed during the DTC check, check the suspected area listed for that code in the table and proceed to the appropriate troubleshooting.

2. WARNING LIGHT INDICATOR

HINT: The warning light indicator of headlight beam level control system comes on as following patterns.

a. Blink continuously at an interval of 1 sec.:
When a new ECU is installed there is no initial data, so it is necessary to initialize).

b. Blink twice at an interval of 1 sec.:
When initializing is done correctly.

c. Comes on for 3 sec. (IG OFF -> ON):
When it is normal.

d. Keep coming on more than 3 sec. after turning IG switch to ON position:
When initializing ECU fails (Initializing will be required again).

e. Comes on when more than 10 sec. elapses after IG switch is turned to ON position from OFF:
When system has malfunction. (Refer to "FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION" in PRE-CHECK)
