2UR-GSE LUBRICATION: OIL PRESSURE SWITCH: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY






(a) Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the oil pressure switch.
Adhesive:
Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or equivalent






(b) Using SST, install the oil pressure switch.
SST: 09922-10010
without SST - Torque: 15 Nm (153 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf)
with SST - Torque: 8.0 Nm (81 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)
NOTICE:
- Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 155 mm (6.10 in.).
- Do not start the engine for at least 1 hour after installing the switch.

(c) Connect the oil pressure switch connector.
2. ADD ENGINE OIL Replacement

3. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK
4. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER
