All Power Windows do not Operate with Driver Side Door Key Cylinder or Wireless Transmitter

DESCRIPTION

- When a transmitter switch is pushed, the following occurs: 1) the door control receiver receives the transmitter's signal; 2) the door control receiver sends a signal to the main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH); 3) the main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) sends the operation permission signal to the power window regulator motor via the multiplex network master switch assembly; and 4) the power window motors are activated.
- When the driver door key cylinder (key linked switch) is turned, the following occurs: 1) the door lock motor receives the signal; 2) the main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) sends the signal to the power window regulator motor via the multiplex network master switch assembly; and 3) the power window motors are activated.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
- When the the multiplex network master switch assembly connector is disconnected, the power window control system must be initialized Initialization.
- Since the power window control system has functions that use multiplex communication, first confirm that there is no malfunction in the multiplex communication system by inspecting the multiplex communication functions in accordance with the How to Proceed with Troubleshooting procedure How To Proceed With Troubleshooting. Then, conduct the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK BASIC FUNCTION (WIRELESS AND POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM)
(a) Check that the wireless transmitter and driver's door key cylinder (key linked switch) can control all the doors to lock and unlock normally.
Result:






B -- GO TO POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM
A -- GO TO WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM
C -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION
(a) Check that the manual UP/DOWN function can operate all the power windows using the master switch and regulator switch Component Tests and General Diagnostics.
OK:
Manual UP/DOWN function operates normally.
NG -- GO TO OTHER PROBLEM (PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE)
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK REMOTE UP/DOWN FUNCTION
(a) Check that the remote UP/DOWN function can operate the power windows using the master switch Component Tests and General Diagnostics.
OK:
Remote UP/DOWN function operates normally.
NG -- GO TO OTHER PROBLEM (PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE)
OK -- REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
