Key-off Operation Function Operates even if Operating Conditions are not Satisfied

DESCRIPTION

- When the driver door has not been opened, each door power window regulator motor can control its power window operation for approximately 45 seconds after the engine switch is turned off by receiving operation permission signals from the main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH). However, when approximately 45 seconds have elapsed, or the driver door or front passenger side door is opened within approximately 45 seconds of the engine switch being turned off, the power window regulator motor stops operating.
- During AUTO function operation, the window operation will continue until the auto UP / DOWN function completes even if 45 seconds have passed or a door is opened.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE: Since the power window control system has functions that use multiplex communication (BEAN), first confirm that there is no malfunction in the multiplex communication system by inspecting the multiplex communication functions in accordance with the How to Proceed with Troubleshooting procedure How To Proceed With Troubleshooting. Then, conduct the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK OPERATION FUNCTION AFTER ENGINE SWITCH IS TURNED OFF
(a) Check the power window operation function after the engine switch is turned off.
Result:






A -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU RH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH)
B -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK LIGHTING SYSTEM (DOOR COURTESY LIGHT)
(a) Check that the driver and front passenger door courtesy lights operate normally.
OK:
Driver and front passenger door courtesy lights illuminate.
NG -- GO TO LIGHTING SYSTEM (DOOR COURTESY SWITCH CIRCUIT)
OK -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU RH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH)
