CELLULAR COMMUNICATION: BACK-UP BATTERY: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System)

NOTICE:
After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT Removal

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL Removal

4. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT RETAINER

(a) Disengage the 3 claws to remove the glove compartment retainer.





5. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT COVER LH

(a) Disengage the claw and 2 guides to remove the lower instrument cover LH.





6. REMOVE BACK-UP BATTERY WITH BRACKET

(a) Disconnect the connector.





(b) Remove the bolt and back-up battery with bracket.

7. REMOVE NO. 3 TELEPHONE BRACKET

(a) Remove the No. 3 telephone bracket from the back-up battery.





8. REMOVE BACK-UP BATTERY
