Removal and Installation

Removal
1.Remove the blower unit. Blower Unit.
2.Remove the heater and cooling unit foot duct RH.
3.Remove the air mix door motor RH.
4.Remove the evaporator cover.





5.Remove the evaporator and expansion valve as an assembly.
NOTE:
When removing (hoses, tubes or specific components), cap or plug opening(s), to prevent fluid from spilling.
6.Mark the position of the intake sensor on the evaporator before removing the intake sensor from the evaporator.

CAUTION:
Mark the mounting position of the intake sensor on the evaporator.
Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
- Use the marked position of the old intake sensor on the evaporator to install the new intake sensor in the same position on the evaporator.

CAUTION:
- Do not reuse the O-rings.
- Apply A/C compressor oil to the new O-rings for installation.
- Use the original mounting position for the new intake sensor on the evaporator.

Removal and Installation
The intake sensor is not available separately, the heater and cooling unit assembly, which includes the evaporator, must be replaced as an assembly. Service and Repair.
