Test B: A/C Compressor Clutch Test

1. Conduct this test with the A/C Cut-Out Relay removed and a fused jumper connected between terminals 1 and 4 of the harness connector. Leave the jumper connected for the remainder of the A/C Compressor Clutch Test.
2. Use a test lamp to check the voltage to ground at terminal B of the A/C Compressor Clutch.

Test B A/C Compressor Clutch Test:

^ If test is good, proceed to step 3.
^ If the test lamp does not light at terminal B, repair open in DK GRN/WHT wire (59).

3. Temporarily connect a fused jumper from terminal A of the A/C Compressor Clutch to ground.

^ If Clutch does not engage, make the following tests:

- Remove the connector from the A/C High Pressure Cut-Out Switch and jumper terminals A and B of the harness connector. If clutch engages, replace A/C High Pressure Cut-Out Switch (if equipped).
- Check for an open in the DK BlU wire (204) or the BLK wire (150).
