Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) - Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
3. Remove the cluster trim plate.
4. Remove the screws attaching the cluster (2).
5. Pull the cluster (2) rearward in order to remove the cluster.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the electrical connector.
2. Install the cluster (2) to the instrument panel (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the IP cluster attaching screws.

Tighten
Tighten the IP cluster to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Install the cluster trim plate.
5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
