NOTE 1: For an ENGINE IS COLD TOO LONG trouble code, the engine does not warm to 176°F while driving for 20 minutes after start. Check thermostat.

NOTE 2: For a FUEL LEVEL SENDING UNIT VOLTS TOO HIGH trouble code on a JA body vehicle, go to the appropriate body diagnostics for repairs. For all other bodies, go to TEST-15OA.

NOTE 3: For a FUEL LEVEL SENDING UNIT VOLTS TOO LOW trouble code on a JA body vehicle, go to the appropriate body diagnostics for repairs. For all other bodies, go to TEST-149A.

NOTE 4: For a FUEL LEVEL UNIT NO CHANGE OVER MILES trouble code on a JA body vehicle, go to the appropriate body diagnostics for repairs. For all other bodies, go to TEST-151 A.

NOTE 5: For an INTERNAL CONTROLLER FAILURE trouble code, replace the powertrain control module and go to Verification TEST VER-2A.

NOTE 6: For a PCM FAILURE SPI COMMUNICATIONS trouble code, replace the powertrain control module and go to Verification TEST VER-2A.
