Assist Handle Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Pull the assist handle (3) into the down position.
2. Prise open the assist handle screw covers (1).
3. Remove the two retaining torx screws (2).

Important: When removing the assist handle assembly, take care not to damage the locating pins.


4. Remove the assist handle assembly (3).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the assist handle assembly (3) ensuring that the locating pins are correctly aligned with the locating holes and spacer behind the headlining.
2. Install the assist handle retaining screws (2).

Tighten the assist handle retaining screws to 2.0 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Close the assist handle screw covers (1).
