Power Mirror Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the upper auxiliary weatherstrip. Refer to Front Side Door Upper Auxiliary Weatherstrip Replacement (Service and Repair) .





Important: Use a suitable tool to pry open inner panel (1).


3. Remove the inner panel (1) from the door (2).




4. Disconnect the mirror to door harness electrical connector (1).





Important: Position aside upper auxiliary weatherstrip to locate the front mirror to door retaining screw.



Important: Support the mirror when removing retaining screws (1).


5. Remove the mirror to door retaining screws (1).
6. Remove the mirror from the door.



Installation Procedure

1. Position the mirror to the door.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the mirror to door retaining screws (1).

Tighten the screws to 3 N-m (27 lb in).





3. Connect the mirror to door harness electrical connector (1).





Important: Push the inner panel (1) to attach the retainers.


4. Install the inner panel (1) to the door (2).
5. Install the upper auxiliary weatherstrip. Refer to Front Side Door Upper Auxiliary Weatherstrip Replacement (Service and Repair) .
6. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
