Ignition Lock Cylinder Bulb Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the upper and lower steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement (Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement) .




2. Remove the theft deterrent module (1) from the steering column. Refer to Theft Deterrent Module Replacement (Service and Repair) .
3. Turn the ignition lock cylinder lamp socket (2) counter clockwise and remove from the socket from the theft deterrent module (1).
4. Pull and remove the bulb from the ignition lock cylinder lamp socket.



Installation Procedure





1. Install a new bulb to the ignition lock cylinder lamp socket (2).
2. Install the ignition lock cylinder lamp socket (2) to the theft deterrent module (1) and turn clockwise to secure.
3. Install the theft deterrent module to the steering column. Refer to Theft Deterrent Module Replacement (Service and Repair) .
4. Check the operation of the ignition lock cylinder light.
5. Install the upper and lower steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement (Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement) .
