Circuit/System Testing
1. Disconnect the harness connector at the Tire Pressure Control Module.
2. Disconnect the harness connector at the IPC.
3. Test for less than 1 ohm of resistance between the vehicle speed signal circuit terminal 2 and terminal 17.
• If greater than the specified value, test the vehicle speed signal circuit for an open/high resistance.
4. Test for infinite resistance between the vehicle speed signal circuit terminal 2 and ground.
• If not the specified value, test vehicle speed signal circuit for a short to ground, if circuit tests normal replace the tire pressure control module.
Repair Instructions
Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification (Verification Tests) after completing the diagnostic procedure.
