Liftgate Window Weatherstrip Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the liftgate window.




2. Remove the lift gate window struts. Refer to Liftgate Window Strut Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Starting at the corner of the liftgate flange, pull the weather-strip molding from the liftgate.



Installation Procedure





1. Push the ends of the weather-strip onto the liftgate flange corners.
2. Push the weather-strip molding onto the flange along the entire length of the liftgate.
3. Install the lift gate window struts. Refer to Liftgate Window Strut Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Close the lift gate window.
