Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

Warning: Refer to SIR Warning (SIR Warning).

1. Remove the lumbar knob, if equipped. Refer to Lumbar Support Knob Replacement (Lumbar Support Knob Replacement).





Note: Take special care when removing the trim. Start at the arched portion, and work counter-clockwise around the trim, ending at the upper most point. To disengaged the upper most clip, pivot the trim forward.

2. Remove the inflatable restraint side impact module trim (1).




3. Starting at the top of the seat back panel, remove the push-in retainers by pulling the panel from the seat back frame.
4. Remove the seat back panel from the seat back frame by pulling straight up to release the lower hooks.
5. Remove the seat back panel.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the seat back panel to the seat back frame.
2. Engage the lower hooks to the seat frame.
3. Push at the top of the seat back panel to install the push-in retainers to the frame.
4. Install the lumbar knob, if equipped. Refer to Lumbar Support Knob Replacement (Lumbar Support Knob Replacement).




5. Install the inflatable restraint side impact module trim (1).
