Dome Lamp Bulb Replacement

Removal Procedure

Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning (Battery Disconnect Warning).

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the dome lamp assembly. Refer to Dome Lamp Replacement (Front w/Sunroof) (Dome Lamp Replacement (Front w/Sunroof))Dome Lamp Replacement (Front w/o Sunroof) (Dome Lamp Replacement (Front w/o Sunroof)).




3. Twist the dome lamp bulb socket assembly (1) counter-clockwise and remove the dome lamp bulb socket assembly from the dome lamp assembly (2).




4. Remove the dome lamp bulb (1) by gently pulling it from the dome lamp bulb socket (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install a new dome lamp bulb (1) to the dome lamp bulb socket (2).




2. Install the dome lamp bulb socket assembly (1) into the dome lamp assembly (2) and twist the dome lamp bulb socket assembly (1) clockwise to secure.
3. Install the dome lamp assembly. Refer to Dome Lamp Replacement (Front w/Sunroof) (Dome Lamp Replacement (Front w/Sunroof))Dome Lamp Replacement (Front w/o Sunroof) (Dome Lamp Replacement (Front w/o Sunroof)).
4. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Service and Repair).
5. Test the dome lamp for correct operation.
