NOTE: The spoiler can only be removed from the rear lid when the extension elements are extended. After retracting or extending three times with an obstacle, the control module detects the obstacle and switches off. The control module is reset by switching the ignition off and on. In order to remove the spoiler in the case of malfunctions in the drive module, lift the spoiler manually and support with support pads.

CAUTION: Damage will result if emergency release of the drive module is carried out incorrectly!

- Always make sure to observe the exact sequence for emergency release of the drive module!
- During emergency release, the extension element retracts suddenly!
- Wear gloves during emergency release.
- Before release, cover off the painted areas of the lid near the extension elements with adhesive tape in order to avoid paint damage.
- During emergency release, the spoiler must be held tightly by an assistant.
