Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
- CDR23 ON
- CD inserted

NOTE: Fault code 8003 is recorded if the operating buttons are actuated for '≥ 1 Min.'.

Possible cause of fault
- Audio CD massing or damaged
- Audio CD inserted the wrong way round
