Level control module

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition and light switched on
- Internal HBA (Xenon) control module function test (once ignition and dipped beam headlight are on, a reference run is performed: headlight swivels up, down and slightly up again)

Possible cause of fault
- HBA control module coded incorrectly
- No signal from level control module
- Line connection to level control module faulty
- Level control module does not function

Affected pins
- Headlight mounting plate plug: pin A1
- HBA (Xenon) control module plug: pin 3
- Level control module plug: pin A25

Diagnosis/troubleshooting

NOTE: The numbering of the pins on the headlight housing plug can be seen as a mirror image of the headlight mounting plate plug shown.
