Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
- Internal functional check on electronic unit in steering column switch
Possible cause of fault
- Incorrect temperature signal. Steering wheel heating is switched off after a monitoring time has elapsed (implausible signal)
- No activation of steering wheel heating (open circuit/short circuit to B+)
- No activation of steering wheel heating (short circuit to ground)
Affected pins
The sensor for the heated steering wheel is internally wired and thus has no pins.
