Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
- Internal function test of steering column switch (with electronic unit)

Possible cause of fault
- Button or keys do not send any signal (short circuit to ground)
- Button or keys do not send any signal (open circuit/short circuit to B+)
- Keys do not send any valid signal (implausible signal)
- Button or keys do not function (fault)

Multi-function buttons in the steering wheel, left, are internally wired and thus have no pins.
