Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
- Internal control module function test
Possible causes of fault
- To localise the fault, read out the fault memory for the 'transfer box control module' (Please read out fault memory)
- The signal received from the Tiptronic control module via the CAN drive does not correspond to the expected signal (implausible signal)
- No message from transfer box control module on CAN drive (no signal/communication)
Affected pins
Tiptronic control module plug:
- Pin 34 'CAN drive (low)'
- Pin 46 'CAN drive (high)'

NOTE: If there is no incoming signal/message via the CAN drive using several control modules, the CAN drive must be checked for open or short circuits. Refer to 'Checking instructions/CAN data bus'.
