Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "B" Circuit Low

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on (approx. 30 sec.)
- Battery positive voltage greater than 7 V

Possible cause of fault
- Short circuit to ground
- Accelerator module faulty

Affected terminals
DME control module connector A, pin 34

NOTE:
- The system is running in accelerator module standby mode, i.e. the angle of the accelerator pedal is calculated from the residual position sensor signal.
- When this fault occurs, the value from the accelerator module is limited to 30 % and the dynamic is reduced.
