P2108Throttle Adjusting Unit, Lower Mechanical Stop - Signal Implausible
Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on (approx. 30 seconds)
- Vehicle is stationary
- Engine not running
- Engine temperature between 5 and 100 °C
- Intake air temperature greater than 5 °C
- Battery positive voltage greater than 10 V
- Pedal value less than 0.8 %
NOTE: This fault is only recorded if the adaptation was not performed correctly after the throttle adjusting unit or DME control module was replaced (adaptation aborted before 'fresh start' due to violated ambient conditions).
NOTE: When this fault occurs, the value from the accelerator module is limited to 30 % and the dynamic is reduced.
Possible cause of fault
- No adaptation performed
- New throttle adjusting unit also faulty
