Preliminary work

1. Remove intake pipes upstream of the throttle valve. -> 243519 Removing and installing air box for throttle housing on DFI engines (intake pipes upstream of throttle valve) - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

Removing guide tube for oil dipstick

1. Unscrew the two fastening screws. -3 and 11-. Use an angled tool for this.

2. Pull out oil dipstick.
3. Pull guide tube out of the oil guide housing. Carefully turn back and forth if necessary. Check that the sealing ring on the guide tube moves with it or pull the sealing ring out of the bore using an angled piece of wire.

Information

- Illuminate the installation location well for assembling the guide tube.

1. Replace sealing ring.
2. Push guide tube into the oil guide housing. Fit and tighten screws. -3 and 11-

Subsequent work
